Andy and the Imaginarium team will be talking through all aspects of the process of performance capture, from the actual first script stage to the final delivery of performance capture data. There will be an extensive look at the technology, and demonstrations as to how the software and hardware work together to drive virtual characters within a virtual environment.
Andy has worked around the world on a variety of film, TV and commercial projects, and has over 15 years of industry experience. Andrew’s huge list of film credits include Pirates:An Adventure with Scientists, Avatar, Hellboy2, Transformers, Sunshine and Batman Begins where his titles include Visual Effects Supervisor and Computer Graphics Supervisor. Other major projects include supervising Lucasfilm’s Digital Artist Group in Singapore, a team created to both produce outstanding visual effects work for feature films and next generation console game projects. In addition to other film credits such as Star Wars: Episode 2, Jurassic Park 3, Harry Potter 2, Andrew also spent time working on high end commercials delivering for brands as diverse as Muller, Herve Leger, Guinness, and British Telecom. Andy is currently the VFX Supervisor at The Imaginarium Studios.
